British actress Holliday Grainger has been cast as Robin Ellacott opposite Tom Burke, who plays Cormoran Strike, in the BBC’s “The Strike Series,” which is based on J.K. Rowling’s bestselling crime novels written under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith.

The series comprises “The Cuckoo’s Calling,” with three hour-long episodes; “The Silkworm,” with two hour-long episodes; and “Career of Evil,” also with two hour-long episodes. The series is set to begin shooting in November across London.

Grainger, who most recently starred in BBC’s “Lady Chatterley’s Lover” as Lady Constance Chatterley, will play Robin, assistant to Strike, a private detective operating out of a tiny office in London’s Denmark Street. Though she begins as a temporary secretary, managing Strike’s chaotic life, she soon becomes involved with his caseload and begins to see her true potential.

Fox Searchlight has set a May 5 limited release date for its mystery-drama “My Cousin Rachel,” starring Rachel Weisz and Sam Claflin.

Roger Michell directed from his own script, adapted from the 1951 novel by Daphne du Maurier that’s mostly set on an estate in Cornwall. Kevin Loader is the producer.

Holliday Grainger, Iain Glen, and Pierfrancesco Favino also star in the story of a young Englishman who plots revenge against his mysterious, beautiful cousin, believing that she murdered his guardian. But his feelings become complicated as he finds himself falling under the beguiling spell of her charms.

The first feature film by Director/Actor Anthony Lucero, The Clown is currently being shot in Tbilisi, Georgia. Production began on August 8^th and will run until March 6^th 2017, spending a total of close to GEL2 million in the country and taking advantage of its newly established cash rebate.
Lily Collins (Love, Rosie, Rules Don’t Apply) is the latest addition to the cast alongside Pål Sverre Hagen, Holliday Grainger and János Derzsi amongst others.
