‘My Cousin Rachel’ moves release to Summer

Fox Searchlight is moving My Cousin Rachel further back to Friday July 14, 2017 in select theaters. Based on the 1951 book by Daphne du Maurier, pic follows a young Englishman who plots revenge against his cousin who he believes murdered his guardian. But his feelings become complicated and he falls for her. Notting Hill‘s Roger Michell directs, Rachel Weisz, Sam Claflin, Holliday Grainger, Iain Glen and Pierfrancesco Favino star. July 14 is a big male testosterone frame for wide releases with Fox’s War for the Planet of the Apes debuting alongside STX’s Bad Dads. Open Road also has the Bella Thorne-Patrick Schwarzenegger movie Midnight Sun.
