Word on the wire is that The Capture, BBC1’s intriguing new six-part surveillance thriller, has all the water-cooler potential of Bodyguard. The complex story of an innocent man falsely accused in the ‘post-truth’ era will keep even the most observant armchair sleuth on their toes. It is a timely production, taking on such hot topics as fake news and the power of the intelligence services.
It stars the superb Holliday Grainger as ice-cool cop DI Rachel Carey and Callum Turner (War And Peace) as a soldier caught in a hellish hi-tech web. And she has high hopes for the show. ‘No one could foresee the success Bodyguard,’ she admits, ‘but the moment I saw the script for The Capture I knew it had that certain something. It’s a production I would definitely want to watch.’ Read More

Metro.co.uk: Sixty Seconds with Holliday Grainger
The actress, 31, on mind reading on the Tube and playing a hard-partying Dubliner in new film Animals
How was it filming all the drinking scenes in animals? there are a lot of them!
Yes, there are. We were drinking a lot of apple juice so there were sugar highs. It’s kind of interesting to track that continuity of drunkenness. You’ve just got to remember what it feels like.
Were you inspired by any of your friends, naming no names?
Definitely. It’s all from aspects of every friendship I have or from people I see.
What kind of party person are you?
Obviously I’ve been through my stages, my blowout stage — haven’t we all? — but I’m pretty good now. One thing about getting older is hangovers are harder. And you’ve got to have a lot of stamina when you’re on a shoot. I can’t burn the candle at both ends like I used to.

FEB 28, 2019: FILMING ‘THE CAPTURE’
Holliday Grainger is currently in London filming ‘The Capture’ as she embraces the character Rachel Carey. As we previously saw on other filming pictures, Holly looked fierce in a dark green longline coat, a black shirt, loose-fitting trousers and heeled boots which makes us miss the Strike series! Alongside her, but sadly not in the same filming pictures, was her costar Callum Turner. We hope to know more about this BBC drama soon.
