We got our first look into Troubled Blood (Strike’s series)! Holly has been filming for the past few weeks, as we stated before, and now, the official first image was released by BBC and the paparazzi also caught her and Tom filming outside, so those are a nice sneak peek as well 🙂
We have previously announced that Holly was filming back in Lincolnshire and it seems like the will move on to Skegness this month!
Expect to see a number of local attractions getting a mention, including the Clock Tower, Skegness Bowl, the Jolly Fisherman Fountain and the boating lake.
It is expected filming will take place in Skegness in about two weeks’ time.
Holly has booked another voice work for this year! Audible will release Impact Winter which has a star-studded cast included: Himesh Patel (Don’t Look Up, Yesterday, Tenet), Holliday Grainger (The Borgias, My Cousin Rachel), David Gyasi (Interstellar, Panic), Esme Creed-Miles (Hanna), Liam Cunningham (Game of Thrones), Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones), Caroline Ford (Carnival Row), Chloe Pirrie (The Queen’s Gambit, The Crown), Indira Varma (Carnival Row, Games of Thrones), Freddy Carter (Shadow and Bone, Pennyworth), and an ensemble cast.
More than a decade after a comet strike has inflicted an “impact winter” and blacked out the sun, vampires have emerged in the darkness to take over what remains of the world. Humans have fled underground, clinging to an existence that feels increasingly doomed. One vampire hunter, a young woman named Darcy, is lured from her bunker beneath an ancient castle by a powerful vampire overlord and thrust into a fight for her people’s future. From Travis Beacham, the mind behind Carnival Row and Pacific Rim, this action, romance, coming-of-age story delivers an unprecedented sonic experience via binaural action sequences, original music and incomparable sound design, all of which come together to bring to life this post-apocalyptic world in visceral detail.

It is almost here! The Capture has wrapped up the filming and now it’s time to move on for Strike: Troubled Blood. The filming is set to start filming this next month in Lincolnshire through 4 episodes
The new season of a television adaptation of a J.K. Rowling book series is to have scenes filmed in Skegness, starting next month.
Troubled Blood is the fifth novel in the best-selling Cormoran Strike series written by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, and published under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith in September 2020.
The Strike stories follow the case of private detective and ex-Royal Military Police special investigator Cormoran Strike and his partner Robin Ellacott, as the protagonist is called upon to investigate a suspicious suicide case.
The first four novels have also been adapted into crime drama shows, and they aired on BBC One in the UK and HBO in America.

Strike: Troubled Blood
A new season of the BBC crime series following Tom Burke as rumpled private detective Cormoran Strike is coming. Adapted from the books by Robert Galbraith (aka JK Rowling), it sees him solving complex cases alongside trusted assistant Robin, played by Holliday Grainger. The three-parter is in pre-production ahead of shooting next year and it’s likely that Gary Davy will return to cast.
