Troubled Blood coming to BBC One this December

We finally have news regarding the last season of Strike Troubled Blood! According to BBC ONE, the 4 part adaption of the book will premiere on December 11th at 9pm. And you can see the first two episodes as well on the BBCiPlayer and the last 2 episodes on December 19th, same time.

Private detective Cormoran Strike (Tom Burke) is visiting his family in Cornwall when he’s approached by a woman, Anna Phipps (Sophie Ward) asking for help finding her mother, Margot Bamborough (Abigail Lawrie), who went missing under mysterious circumstances in 1974.

Strike’s never tackled a cold case before let alone one forty years old, but despite the slim chance of success, he’s intrigued and takes it on, adding to the long list of cases that he and his partner in the agency Robin Ellacott (Holliday Grainger) are currently working on. Robin herself is also juggling a messy divorce and unwanted male attention as well as battling her own feelings about Strike.

As Strike and Robin investigate Margot’s disappearance, they come up against a fiendishly complex case with a psychopathic serial killer and witnesses who cannot all be trusted. They learn that even cases decades old can prove to be deadly.

Alongside this news, the first promotional picture has been released as well as the first Magazine small feature on the release!

The Capture: Holliday Grainger Details Upping the Ante for the Thriller’s Second Season (source)

In an interview with CBR, The Capture star Holliday Grainger talks about raised stakes and heightened paranoia in Season 2 of the Peacock series.

In an exclusive interview with CBR, The Capture star Holliday Grainger described upping the ante and taking Rachel Carey into darker areas in Season 2. She teased what fans can expect and praised the cast and crew, including series creator Ben Chanan, for crafting such a heightened thriller perfect for the Information Age.

CBR: The Capture Season 2 really starts with Rachel Carey in the lion’s den, now under surveillance and with no one to lean on. How was it starting off the season with this status quo in mind?

Holliday Grainger: It’s great! In a way, in Season 1, she’s quietly confident, and then she kind of builds balls. [laughs] In Season 2, she’s kind of broken a bit at the beginning; broken but steely. As it goes on, the stakes and fear get higher, but her resolve is always steadfast.

Review: The Capture Series two offers a slice of silly spy melodrama (4 out of 5*)

The first review is out on Standard.co.uk: Rejoice, The Capture fans. The glossy thriller is back, and has graduated from solving murder cases to tackling international spy conspiracies.

For season two, brainiac cop DCI Rachel Carey – played by Holliday Grainger with a stiff posture and a sort of permapout that never changes no matter the circumstances – is back.

And well might she pout. After joining the Correction, the shadowy government organisation that made her life hell in series one before offering her a job, all is not well. DI Carey has been reduced to the spy equivalent of an admin assistant, reduced to endlessly cornering her boss in the lift in the hope of a promotion.

We also added two new promotional pictures to the gallery:
